Basic Rules
Simply, write a 500-word flash fiction story in just 48 hours using three prompts from a provided list.
A shortlist will then be drawn up by our carefully selected judging panel of writing people from around the world and then an industry-acclaimed author will whittle down that shortlist down to the winner(s).

Try saying that with your mouth full!
If you include a Blue-Footed Booby in your story, it will automatically be inducted into the Booby Hall of Fame and have a chance to win a booby soft toy!
Why Flash Fiction?
Writing contests, we find, are a great way to defeat writer's block - getting those prompts helps narrow down your options of where to go, but often opens up the creative areas of the brain!
